Ashley Hawthorne is a shameless introvert and lifelong lover of stories. A homeschooling mom for more than a decade, she needed a new challenge when her rapidly growing students began to become more independent. After a lot of consideration and a few false starts, she decided to start writing stories of her own. Her favorite tales have always been those of love and loss, hope and heartbreak, and that’s what she hopes you will find in the worlds she creates. Most of her time is spent writing or hanging out with her family, but she also enjoys outdoor adventures and baking. She lives in a very tiny house in Texas with her husband, two teenagers, and far too many rescue animals, including a cat named Fish Stick and ball python named Root Beer.
